I have a friend from another country who had a loved one die. How can I learn about their culture and customs so l can support them at this difficult time?
To find information about friend’s cultural traditions around death and mourning, enter the name of the culture or nationality in the search bar at the top left of any page on our site. (For example, Hindu, Buddhist, Danish, Greek.) Or simply explore our Cultural Beliefs Around Death section to learn more about a variety of rituals and traditions from around the globe.
I have a specific question related to the estate of a family member who has died. Who should I speak with?
We at SevenPonds are not attorneys and are not qualified to give legal advice. For general information about estate planning, see our Planning Guide: How to Settle an Estate After Death . If you don’t find the information you’re looking for, we suggest you contact an attorney for advice.

At SevenPonds, we intentionally feature only the finest and most aesthetically appealing burial and cremation products on our site. Our goal is to provide you with a carefully curated selection of the most beautiful products available online.

I need a celebrant or officiant for a funeral or cremation service within a few days and can’t find one. Can you help me?
At SevenPonds, we understand that putting together a funeral or memorial service after an unexpected death can be very difficult. And while we cannot contact a celebrant on your behalf, we do provide a list of celebrants and officiants in the Local Vendors & Venues section of our site. If you have already called those listed in your immediate area, try reaching out to some who are a bit further away. Many celebrants are more than willing to travel out of their immediate area to assist someone who has suffered a loss.

All of the information on our website is obtained from reliable online sources and experts in the field of end of life. Where appropriate, we have provided links in the content to the websites where we found our material or the name and affiliation of the person who provided it.

Our Planning Guides were created with the assistance of industry professionals and experts in the field of end of life. We also drew on the extensive knowledge and expertise of our founder, Suzette Sherman, and our professional writing staff.
SevenPonds Magazine
Do advertisers on your website have any influence over the content in your magazine?
No. The SevenPonds Magazine is a separate business entity with a separate operating budget from the SevenPonds website. We do not feature advertisements in our magazine, nor do our business associates have any input into the content we feature there.
How can I submit a book for review in your magazine?
If you would like SevenPonds to consider a book review, please send email to Caitlin@sevenponds.com Caitlin is our managing editor and will determine if the book is appropriate for our site. Please include the name of the book, the author, the ISBN, and the contact information for the publicist or agent who can supply us with a copy to review. If we decide to review the book, we will notify you or your publicist of the approximate publish date.
I read something in your magazine that I think is incorrect. Who can I contact to request a correction or explanation?
Our writers and editors work hard to ensure that the information in our magazine is accurate, factual and up-to-date. Nevertheless, sometimes we get something wrong. If you see what you believe is an error in our content, please email our managing editor at Caitlin@sevenponds.com with your concern (include the URL of the article.) She will either make the necessary corrections or contact you with an explanation as to why we believe the content is correct.

If you are an expert in some aspect of end of life, we would love to hear from you about the possibility of an interview. We are always seeking conversations with experts on specific topics that provide meaningful value to our visitors.

If you are selected for an interview, Caitlin will get back to you with more information and a tentative publishing date. Since we schedule our interviews well in advance, it may be several months before an interview can be arranged.
