Position: Empathy Driven – Marketing Internship

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related creative field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with key social media platforms (e.g., content scheduling, platform features, audience engagement).
- Familiarity with collaborative and productivity tools, specifically Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Position: Not the Usual – Magazine Writer
Your Mission: We are seeking passionate, empathetic and talented writers to contribute to SevenPonds Magazine, focusing on the sensitive and important topic of end-of-life. If you have been personally touched by death—through loss or professional experience in hospice, hospitals, ER or care facilities—we strongly encourage you to apply. Experience writing for an online publication is a significant asset.
Type: Part-time commitment, designed to integrate seamlessly into your life and provide flexible work time.
Report To: Our Managing Editor
Location: Remote Position
Responsibilities:
- Write 3 articles per month for assigned columns.
- Conduct professional interviews and quality research.
- Select and develop engaging validated end-of-life reporting.
- Source appropriate images for all content.
Qualifications
- Degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Exceptional English grammar and punctuation skills.
- Proven ability to meet hard deadlines consistently.
- Preferred: Previous online publication experience, knowledge of WordPress, Google Docs/Calendar, and AP Style.
