When you’ve lost someone dear, the ceremony that honors their life deserves the same care and personal touch as any milestone occasion. I’m Terry Plank, M.Div., and I bring over 40 years of experience officiating meaningful ceremonies to memorial and remembrance services throughout the Half Moon Bay Coastside and San Francisco Bay Area. My philosophy is simple: the ceremony should reflect who your loved one truly was. Drawing on my background in psychology, counseling, and the performing arts, I create an atmosphere that balances warmth, sincerity, and when appropriate even gentle humor, because a life well lived deserves to be celebrated as well as mourned. As a Humanist Celebrant authorized by The Humanist Society, I lead secular services that are deeply personal and meaningful without being tied to any religious tradition. That said, if your family holds spiritual or religious elements important, I am happy to incorporate those as well. I work closely with families by phone and email to shape a service that truly honors your loved one whether an intimate gathering by the sea or a larger ceremony at a venue of your choosing. I serve the Half Moon Bay Coastside area as well as the greater San Francisco Bay Area.Offerings
