Ema Drouillard
I have been standing at the thresholds of other people’s lives for more than twenty years — officiating weddings, baby blessings, coming of age ceremonies, and celebrations of life across the Bay Area and beyond. My formation began long before my certification: as a volunteer chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital in the 1970s, studying with Stephen and Ondrea Levine, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, and Dr. Gerald Jampolsky at his Center for Attitudinal Healing in Tiburon. Death and ceremony have always been my territory.
Through RememberedWell.com I offer custom ceremony script writing for celebrations of life, memorials, and life transitions to families nationwide — a personalized script they can deliver themselves, or have me deliver in the Bay Area. I also offer A Gentle Return, a ceremony-led ash scattering service in Marin County.
Every ceremony I write or deliver is built around one belief: the story of a life deserves to be told with the same care and love with which it was lived.
