She began sharing her transplant story at age 8 and has spent over 12 years working in the donation and transplantation field. Now Program Manager at Donate Life California, Lacey continues her mission: to honor her donors by inspiring and educating Californians about organ, eye, and tissue donation as a personal, lifesaving decision.

Brandi has served as Executive Director of Anatomical Services at the University of California, Office of the President, since May 2005 in Oakland, CA. She holds an M.S. in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven. Alongside her leadership role, Brandi has dedicated 16 years to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue unit, responding to missing persons cases, forensic investigations, accidents, and disasters. Her work reflects a strong commitment to both scientific excellence and humanitarian service in challenging and high-impact situations.
