Level III – After the Last Breath — December 10 & 11
Students learn the legalities and logistics of home-based after death care and preservation of the body before burial or cremation.

- Benefits, legalities & logistics of home vigil and funeral
- Coroner cases, autopsy and organ donation
- Shrouding
- Tools for easing the trauma of suicide and sudden death

- Preparation of the body – bathing, dressing, anointing
- Laying the body in honor
- Alternative mortuary options and final disposition
- Stillbirth/infant death: bringing the baby home

Life Celebration – Funeral Celebrant Training — December 12 & 13
Students are challenged to think outside the box during this highly interactive workshop where powerful mock funeral and memorial ceremonies are created to honor the dead.
