Suzette’s cherished summers with her grandparents at Seven Ponds Lakes in Michigan became the heartfelt inspiration behind the name SevenPonds.

Founded in 2011 by Suzette Sherman, SevenPonds was sparked by the uplifting way her Swiss grandmother, Ida, chose to face death. In their final phone conversation, Suzette was deeply moved by Ida’s giddy, joyful spirit—a powerful moment that revealed the emergence of a new, hopeful perspective on dying.
