One of the most important aspects of the grieving process includes not only evaluating our relationships with those who will help us heal, but the relationship we have with ourselves. Sometimes it can be more daunting to confront our true feelings and frustrations as we grief a death — that’s where guided imagery comes into play. Guided imagery is a way of meditating, of making ourselves feel more comfortable in our own skin before confronting these questions.
